Toad

Toad
I'm not sure of the species - maybe Anaxyrus americanus. It is very small - about 3 cm long.

I'm sure this guy isn't very old. The adults are many times bigger than this. I saw it only because it hopped a little bit.

Thanks a lot. I'm surprised you haven't seen toads. This species lives only east of the Rocky Mountains, but there are others in the northwest.
