Love that little Frog, I tried once growing a pineapple on but failed miserably.

Thanks, Maurice. I was pulling all the weeds from around my pineapple plants. This frog stayed on his leaf the whole time. Growing pineapples takes lots of sunshine and hot temperatures. Probably you don't have that in your part of England.

How exciting to be able to grow your own pineapple! I eat pineapple several times a week.

It's really beautiful and I like your little helper there too. :)

Thank you very much. I had moved the pineapple plants around several times while pulling weeds, but the little frog stayed right there.

Schitterende opname,Ronald met de kikker als kers op de taart.
Ik heb zelf al 6 jaar ananassen gekweekt van de kroon van vruchten uit de supermarkt, maar heb nog nooit een bloem gekregen.
hartelijke groeten............Frans.

Thank you, Frans. I do as you do: I twist the tops off of supermarket pineapples and put them in pots of soil. Most of the year I keep them in full sunshine, but I must bring them into the house in winter. This year I have four plants that are forming fruit. When they are outdoors, I keep them in a cage to prevent raccoons from eating the fruit.

How smart to grow your own. I would love to see the flowers when they are open.
