AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! SOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! Would you just LOOK at that adorable baby!! I can totally picture it flopping back and forth--totally unperturbed by the potential danger--as it wanders around wolfing down figs! MARVELOUS! What a great find, and I just love the shallow dof. You may have wanted crisp detail all over, but what this has done is show off this darling baby's adorable face and allowed us to see the softness of its fur--which it is, though the hairs to feel hard on top--because of the slight blur. WONDERFUL. :) I am in love.

Thank you so much, Janet. A few years ago, I got a photo of a whole bunch of baby raccoons looking down from a pear tree at the photographer (or maybe the photographer's dogs). I'll try to find it and post it here. Shallow depth-of-field was the only option, since it was quite dark under the tree.
