Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Ruyton XI Towns


There was a fun competition for the best dressed house in the village. This one sported loyalties to the Queen and also to England and Wales. The photographer is a Scot, so almost the full house for the UK. The PiP is a photo from the one and only street party in the village..

Nice and meaningful evocation!
We've not been to any street parties or events, but we've followed the TV coverage over the weekend. It's been quite enjoyable :-))
I don't see a platinum jubilee happening over here, the last three Queens abdicated at some point and I don't see it happening that our present King is on the throne until his 116th birthday or beyond...
