Oh such a beautiful image Amelia. Just lovely! Made me think of teaching in the Virgin Islands so many years ago. Our school had a stone wall about 5 feet high running along the side of the building. My classroom opened up onto an outdoor area and the peacocks (who lived on the other side of the wall) would perch on the wall. At one point we had one causally stroll through the classroom. My students (5-6 year old's) just thought that was wonderful! (and it really was)!
