Blickling goose

Blickling goose
The Egyptian goose was officially declared a non-native species in 2009 and could be shot, without special permission, if it was causing problems.

Ik heb ook diverse opnames gemaakt van de nijlganzen in mijn buurt,en ook hier worden
ze als invasief beschouwd en mogen ze worden geruimd!

Nice clear shot of this Egyptian Goose but alas a very unwelcome introduction to the British isles.

You caught it well! It looks pretty but is very invasive.A few days ago I saw one in our zoo walking through the flower beds....I wonder how they'll deal with it.

You have caught it so well Amelia, with such lovely definition. Are they any more of a nuisance than Canada geese then? I wonder if they can also be culled.

I love this angle and the crisp details of this beautiful goose, but wow...how disturbing that anyone can just shoot them if they like. But...non-native...if they are causing problems it may be necessary.

Congratulations on Explore!
