Thank you Peter. It was calm in the morning, but the weather soon tuned turned eveil, It did improve though later in the afternoon.

The grey looks utterly calm and it enhances the bit of light in the sky. A beautiful and well balanced photo!

Weather is so unpredictable in the UK, Gudrun. We spent much of the rest of the day dodging driving rain and wind, but finally ended up by the Crinan canal and that was perfect. We had some dreadful weather yesterday, though not as bad as Ireland, the north of England and west of Scotland.
