I had a wonderful time here, Cheryl, but It wasn't safe and still open to anyone. Just outside this doorway there was a sheer drop of about 7 metres!

Beautiful image, but in a way something sad !!! I don't like when things are abandonned !!!

I think there may be plans to take over this site and turn it into living accommodation, Marie-claire. Let's hope there is some sensible redevelopment.

It must have been a pretty good shot to start with. Most shots need some PP especially if you shoot in Raw format. It's the end result that matters.

The roof was in very good condition, Peter, and the factory is not really on the beaten track. I wonder if it has all been made secure now. This doorway opened up to a 20 foot drop! At least there was no external cladding.

So sad.

I think some good will come of it, Pam. At the time they were talking about converting the whole building into living quarters. Let's hope that has happened by now.

What a cool lost place! It seems, Norwegians don't need many swimsuits;-)

Many of the hotels have swimming polls, Gudrun. And besides - I have swum in the North Sea in Norway. But on the whole, the clothing investment should have been geared up to suppling outdoor wet weather gear. They'd have been making a mint by now. :-)

Well, wet weather gear is dominated by Helly Hansen- don't know how many firms the Norwegian market can support...
