Wells Cathedral

Wells Cathedral
The Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew, commonly known as Wells Cathedral, is an Anglican cathedral in Wells, Somerset. The cathedral, dedicated to St Andrew the Apostle, is the seat of the Bishop of Bath and Wells.
Unfortunately there were a couple of white vans and workmen with scaffolding at the entrance on the day we visited, hence the curtailed view of the entrance.

Marco F. Delminho, , Gudrun, Tanja - Loughcrew and 6 other people have particularly liked this photo

It's become almost impossible to get decent images of anything in towns and cities nowadays without cars etc in the way - we just have to make the best of it, which is exactly what you've done here.............and a good job you've made of it.

How I agree with previous comments if it's not cars it's signs and notice boards or a modern lamp post and I just love someone stood gazing at a mobile, yes I am getting a grumpy old *******

The lovely clouds more than make up for the curtailed bottom! Wells cathedral is a real beauty. A pity they charge so much on top of the entry fee if you want to take photos inside.
