Well - we could light a candle, get on Skype and watch each other having a bite off our birthday cake. Uh wait... I can't have cake, but I'll think of a replacement for me :-)
Hallo Catherin!
*sob*
Hallo Werner!
Wunderschöne Bilder hast Du da gemacht .... da könnte man fast wieder Lust auf Deutschland bekommen :-)
Freu mich auf weitere ... Gruß Catherin
Ganz genau!
Thanks for the visit and comments. It looks like we were on the same path for a time, Red Rock, Vegas and Grand Canyon. All of them certainly change your perspective.
I couldn't agree more, Patrick, exactly! It was my first visit to any desert in the world and I found them to be places of good and strong energy, apt to recharge my batteries, get centered/quieted and find inner peace for a little while. Thanks for your visit here, keep up the good work you do!
Hi folks,
thanks for the nice welcome! I guess that means I initiated my transition from flickr. I still have my doubts about whether this place is going to stay free in the long run, but it can't hurt to give it a shot in the meantime, can it?
I think Yahoo! is already in trouble, has been in trouble and is likely to see more trouble given the latest events. Although I feel sorry for the original flickr team and the community, I think these recent events are an important lesson for all of us: Sharing our content, views, images, comments and messages is like keeping your house unlocked: You never know, when the landlord comes by and starts to confiscate your belongings...
So, let's just hope this won't happen here to soon (and let's pray, Yahoo! is currently not shopping for more communities...
I will need some time to get acquainted with this here and also to transfer some of my content. Or maybe I'll just leave everything there and keep it as 'shrine' and start all over again...
