In 1923 my great uncle Leonard visited Paris. He was an artist living in London at the time and was very smitten by the city from the postcards he sent home. He described Paris as being really beautiful and the people so charming and natural and their personality seeming to be reflected in the city itself. Having never been to Paris I was given a golden opportunity to visit the city over 2 days - had a wonderful time exploring central Paris and some of its museums
