PPS. I'm on the point of finishing an illustration about/containing snails, inspireed by the abondance of the wee creatures on your page. I'll be my first contribution to this group.

I'm more used to ringing the wrong bell and frightening Guardian readers away ( 'ere we go, Steve; 'told you so... ;-) ) I tend to make liberal use of frivolity and flippancy as instruments of subversion and, if at all possible, mass destruction (although it hardly ever works, I must admit), so I end up putting people off. No matter. Wheat from chaff comes to mind...
The Shoggies love the sound of 1: anything free and 2: anything wot smacks of hedonism (they had a very, very, VERY hard life, in the past, poor dears), ergo they like the sound of the Free State of Hedonia. They want to come, too. Besides, I wouldn't go anywhere without them, what!
Now I'm off to explore the other stuff in the group.
