We the Administrators/Moderators of the group would like to open a means of communication with all the members. The topic is what would you like it to be eg what you would like to see/ how the group is run or could be run/how can we improve/do you want to see changes for better or not ...open to you...

This is an open letter to us all, Your thoughts as a group. If some thing is raised here it will be taken to another Discussion group if we cant sort it out in a few comments here as another thread.

Remember you now have four people who volunteered to look after the group and learn for the groups benefit. we want all to do the best for the group to keep going forward.

Diskussionen oben).

All this has been discussed through and out before:

There are good reasons why "creative freedom" on the choice of subject should not be limited. There are also good reasons why more than one contribution per week was set. But if you indeed fill the quota of 16 contributions per month allowed, then consider posting for example only 10 per month. If you stubbornly try to cling on some of your personal right of being able to post exactly three contributions every week, then this is not the right group for you.

17 months ago It was also more or less agreed who were willing to take over this group. Volunteers were asked to take over, and they were chosen. And they are now whom you should respect.

@ All - Please respect the group administration. Constructive feedback is fine. But if the group is not what you like, then find a better one, or start a group of your own.

And remember the 'Guide of good conduct': www.ipernity.com/about/guidelines

The number of possible contributions is quite sufficient for me. I do not even manage 1 picture per week.
But I still wish myself the greatest possible artistic freedom. I don't care if the fence is the dominant element of the picture or just an accessory. Even a snail fence would make me smile as a creative contribution! (Such a thing may not look like a fence, but it is called that.) So give it to me. Because in the title of this group is the word 'Happy'. Thus one may also laugh about artistically individual contributions. Or shouldn't we?

After some ipernity mail correspondence with HFF group admins, I have only my personal opinion to say here:

1) I totally agree on what Bernhard says. So, don't worry, be happy...

2) If some people seem to get worried that people are leaving the group for some reason, no need to worry either. Maybe it then makes someone else interested to join. Especially this time of the year on the northern hemisphere is less active than usually. Even if many of us are pensioners, people have still used to have a summer vacation, and they are therefore having a vacation also from internet.

3) Bear in mind that sometimes quality is better than quantity. So, one contribution per week can be better than many. Even if the group allows more, it does not mean one should upload many. More images there are posted per a group member every Friday, more images there are to look through for others. And that can be exhausting. So, instead I suggest using those picture in picture (PiP) notes for extra. Or put the other images into image caption. If your account does not allow you post PiPs or images on notes, then add them as URL links onto comments. Then those who do like to see more from some member, can have that option. And those who do wish to browse through all contributions by all members, can have that option.

Please note I think there is a Bug in the system. I have opened HFF at my usual time but its closed for what ever reason. I can not open the group any more it only stays closed. I have asked for help so at this point we will just have to wait but this way you know something is being done.
