There are a number of existing Weekly challenges on Ipernity.
Can we create a list of these and whether they are public or by invitation only.
e.g.
Happy Fence Friday - Public open to all.

I know of:
'Saturday Self-Challenge'
'The Sunday Challenge'
'Macro Mondays'
'Bokeh Thursday ~ check weekly' (not active)
'Orange Thursdays' (not active, though people sometimes add a photo
'Fence Friday (Not the Original)' - people still add to it, but i don't think there's an active admin
Poor Tuesday and Wednesday, they don't seem to get a group, ha!

Useful tool to make sure that all members get the news.
2) Thanks to Rob, there is link to group rules below the group about description. Might be useful to remind members on it.
3) As one may have discovered already, one can keep the image private, and then share it on the group only. That way the contribution becomes seen in the group context only, and only the other group members can comment.
4) At Macro Dreams the keywords and group search are used creatively. So, one can ask members to use certain keywords, and even allow contacts to add keywords to make sure they become used. For example one could then give link to search results like abstract. The keyword search is not case sensitive. So, also the cases for "Abstract" will become listed. More examples can be found at Macro Dreams group.
