Same wishes Diana, here we have sun and winter temperatures, this is about 6/10ºC at night and 16/20ºC during the day, that's is why people from northern European countries enjoy so much winter here... send us some rain, we need it badly...

Plenty of green algae growing here, indicating that it's a damp area as you say, Isabel. We have had some very grey and dismal days in December, in fact the records indicate that there was less than 1 hour a day of sunshine over the whole month; but it's slightly better now.

In there they had rain or snow but no sunshine at all... I could not survive long without depressing, I am used to sunny mild winters. I love each year to spend a couple of weeks in the Artic Polar Circle, but no more than that.
I went to the "Picos" because they had snow falling and forecasted. The forecast changed I was already on my way... I saw some snow but very little, the only morning without rain...

Such a shame it´s raining so much! But I figure you´re making the best out of it ;-)

If I knew I wouldnt have gone there... it was not what was forecasted ! Hikes were very hard and unpleasant.

Looks like the sign has seen a fair bit of bad weather....shall we call it atmospheric Isabel!! :-)

Hiking in the rain is no picnic, but I'd hike in the rain to see some of this countryside.
