I think they are adapted, the lady said it has been raining non stop for over a month. She wears slippers and socks too. She just has to take the wooden clogs off when entering home : very practical !

Not me, no ! I always wear mountain boots, flat sandals or sneakers, never had high heels, never was my style. If I had the oportunity I would have bought a pair of those, but I hadn't !!!
