Another great find. The details are very nicely captured. I like the fading and peeling painwork and the (still quite lovely) ornate ironwork,

The locks and chains are not so nice...........but necessary I guess!

I dug out my 'Acme', 'Sherlock Holmes' junior detection kit'... complete with spy glass - cape and pipe... alas the added effects extra, the 'inflatable Watson' is punctured so I am alone... but I deduced that the staining around the locks is in fact oil... therefore the door is in use.. and not as derelict as the situation appears at first glance... 'By Jove !.. and 'Cheers' from Dj..

My first thought agrees with David someone has oiled the locks recently, maybe someone is considering buying it. It's amazing how old and weathered becomes so interesting
