c 'est le genre de paysages que j' ai découvert en 1986 du côté de Guarda , en passant par Vilar Formoso. La voie express IP5 n' était pas encore ouverte et la route normale était très dure pour se rendre à Lisbonne. J' étais déjà allé au Portugal , mais toujours en passant par Badajoz et Caïa.

Someone has made an excellent job of building and repairing these dry stone walls and they're very beautiful. I especially like the image in the PiP showing off the colours in the stones.

A really lovely location too.........especially in the sunshine!
