I have a question for you. What is the difference between "obrigada" and "obrigado?" Is it a gender reference?

You guessed... Men will say obrigado and women obrigada, it means "obliged" our way to say thanks. We also say "agradecido/a" to thank someone, means grateful. Portuguese is a very baroque and complicated langage.

I would love some more rain before the dry season, it would trigger more flowers. But bloody restrictions do not allow me to move very far away, to places I know there are special flowery meadows, just 30 km from the area I am allowed... Fed up with this totalitarism, I guess in cities worse.
