Xining People's Park
When we visitors walked through the park we sometimes got the impression of a future technology center. The towns citizen show a bit individualism in Park by their outfit and the kind of activity levels they do.

Oh...what changes! In 2000 we spent 3 days here...travelling through W. Sichuan, Gansu, Quinghai, Tibeten regions, then on across to the Gobi Desert to the Kashgar/Pakistan journey. Xining was like a sleepy provincial town then. China builds everything SO fast, and the changes are amazing. (Not always for the best).
