Cleven postcard of Eaton's. The "E" in diamond emblem was the Eaton's logo and appears on at least one other Cleven card, so I'm guessing that he was making these on behalf of the T. Eaton Co. itself.
Postmarked March 14, 1906 at Winnipeg to Mrs. Norman Moore, Glen Buell, Ontario, with an imperfect Glen Buell split-ring receiver visible on the front.
"Hurraugh for me. Just finished a shirt waist. This is the store I told you of. Write soon. Cold weather here - this store takes in a whole city block. Clara."
Note that, at left, the basement of the Somerset Building has been dug out.
