Hello, Judite. I was standing on a footbridge which crosses the motorway at the bottom of the picture. The cooling towers on the horizon are from a recently decommissioned coal powered electricity generating plant, which is awaiting demolition. I have lived in this area my whole life, and have many memories of cold winter mornings seeing these towers steaming away like an ocean liner. I must go there and take some more pictures before they disappear.

Incidentally, the depressingly dull, grey sky you see is normal. This is England: we’re all quite used to it.

I would like to see photos of this demolition.
It will be nostalgic for you, but an interesting evidence
