Bearded Vulture
This evening we got a tip off that the Bearded Vulture currently visiting the UK Peak District ( On holiday from the Alps!) was just seen in the next valley. I got a good view of it through someone's super Telescope which is just as well as it is barely visible in my attempted photos.
Only the second time this species has been recorded in the UK so it was worth having a look. Though I would have preferred to have seen it fly across the valley which others saw earlier in the day.

I read about it in the Times which I download daily, ever since hard copies ceased to be distributed to Spain at the start of the lockdown.
I hope it gets back safely!
