Unser zweiter Blick vom Balkon unseres Hotelzimmers.
An diesem Morgen hängen dichte Wolken in der Cumbre Vieja (links) und am Kraterrand der Caldera de Taburiente (Mitte). Wir haben eine Wanderung zum Kraterrand in über 2200 m Höhe geplant. Welches Wetter wird uns oben erwarten, Wolken, Sonne oder Regen?

La Palma besteht eigentlich nur aus Gebirge. Sie gilt als die steilste Insel der Welt. Die Caldera de Taburiente ist der größte Senkkrater der Welt. Die einzige größere waagerechte Fläche ist die Startbahn am Flughafen.
