How brilliant..!! In the UK we call this "Yarn Bombing" or "Urban Knitting" and it's considered street art, but I've never seen anything on this scale before - it's usually confined to railings, lamposts, street signs etc.

There is a group for it on here........and you'll notice I've suggested you post these two shots there.
