Puerto de la Cruz liegt an der Nordküste Teneriffas, im Orotava Tal. Dort sind viele Wolken und es regnet öfter, und das bei ganzjährigen Temperaturen meist zwischen 22 und 26° C. Kein Wunder, dass in diesem Tal alles so grün ist.
