Oh, this is super cool! Thanks for the neat shot and link to the wiki. There really are lots of treasures to be found around SF's countless nooks and crannies!

Thanks for the visit to my latest pictures! Fun to read that you saw some jays this morning--I do love that Golden Gate Park is such a haven for birds and other wildlife. I used to ride through GGP every day with long ribbon-like rides up and down its length on Sunday when much of the park is closed to vehicular traffic. What a gem. Don't know how much time you've spent on Mt. Davidson but don't miss it--or Twin Peaks...total winners, and Mt. Davidson was my childhood backyard!

Oh! I only just noticed the insets! They're super too! :)

Hi Janet, glad you enjoyed these pictures. We don't often make it to Mt. Davidson but try to go there for a good walk at least once a year. I haven't been up to Twin Peaks in quite a while, maybe should put it on my list for a day when the summer fog isn't shrouding it ;-)
Thank you for your comments.

Funny enough, the Mt Davidson hike was just covered in the local paper www.sfgate.com/things-to-do/article/The-Mount-Davidson-cross-Then-and-now-15129209.php

Ha! I was wondering if you would spot that! Almost was going to give you a hint.
Yes, they are everywhere, as you know ... well, except for this year. Sigh.
