Solothurn

You've visited a place in Solothurn where I've never been before, I guess. ;-)

It is a very quiet backstreet .... I went to high school in Solothurn but don't think I ever walked through there. But I wasn't much of a photographer then (developing film cost money!)

Yep. Though not sure about dreamlike San Fran -- sometimes, it's Switzerland that seems a lot more like a dream of the past.

Yes, I believe that it is in the nature of human that he always wants to have what he doesn't have. :-)
I've been to San Fran three times, and that was before 2000. Yes, I may have a transfigured image of the city. But I have a lot of good memories. :-)
I've been to many American cities, but I liked S.F. the most.

Nice touches of red in an almost monochrome scene. (Do I sound just a bit like John?) Other than the cups and modern windows, this could be a hundred or two years ago.
