I could try to guess which two, but I'm sure I would be wrong. However, I'm pretty certain Sun Ra isn't one of them ;-P

I haven't listened to much Sun Ra, but Jackie McLean is on film explaining how Mr. Ra didn't dress like a king for showbiz but because he deserved to dress like a king, and I believe anything Mr. McLean said. You may have concluded now that I am a member of the McArmy, and if you have you're right.. I misread Clifford Jordan as Clifford Brown, so I guess there's only one god there.

"Brownie" -- one of the "tragic trumpets", as my husband calls them. His son, Clifford Brown Jr. hosts The American Jazz Countdown Sunday at noon on KCSM, which we sometimes catch while on the road (they also stream online, BTW.)
Ra is an acquired taste, musically, but he was certainly in a category by himself as a personality.
I don't know very much about McLean's work, will look at my husbands vast collection which no doubt includes some.
