Ein typisches Queenslander Haus irgendwo zwischen Brisbane und Bundaberg, aufgenommen aus dem Reisebus während meiner erster Australienreise im November 2009. Mir gefällt diese Architektur sehr, den Zaun möchte ich aber nicht streichen müssen :-)

A typical Queenslander house somewhere between Brisbane and Bundaberg, photographed out of a coach during my first trip to Australia in November 2009. I really love this architecture, though I wouldn't like to have to paint the fence :-)

Really neat and "optical", K., but the mere thought of the maintenance required to keep all that white fencing pristine makes me tired! ;) The shaded and airy patio is fantastic though. I could easily imagine myself lounging there with a tall glass of iced tea on a summer afternoon! HFF to you and a great weekend!

Wir haben Freunde in Maryborough, in genau so einem Haus haben wir damals bei ihnen gewohnt. Das Haus ist so gebaut, dass die Luft durchwehen kann, das ist angenehm, wenn es sehr heiß ist.
