Curved lines, black and white, give to the photo a magnificient perspective. Great edition in b/w and nice composition.

This is stunning Joe, the curve of the platform and train leading off into the distance is perfect. Your choice of medium works very well indeed - congratulations.

It is incredible that in some pictures we notice more when it is in mono. I love the perspective and the sky. A very successful shot Joe. Cheers, Rosa.

Thank you, Rosa. I shot this scene in both colour and black and white, and I think the latter is much better. Cheers, Joe

Excellent! I only know it from school geography 'The Helensburgh - Peterhead Line' which I was taught is the name for the division of Lowland and Highland Scotland. But, there again, I've never come across is since and Google draws a blank, so I think it must have been a figment of my (Scottish) geography teacher's imagination!,

No, you are quite right, Andy. At school, I was taught it was the Helensburgh to Stonehaven Fault Line. When you leave Helensburgh, you notice the steep climb to the Highlands after the village of Garelochhead. Cheers, Joe

Perhaps that was the name our teacher taught us and it's therefore my mistake that meant I couldn't find it in Google! I won't look it up again as you have kindly provided all the info I need!
Cheers, Jo!
