Because they are "holy cows" ;-)
On notes you see the original for this image, and another version I made for Not The Sunday Challenge (NTSC) group.
Here I used the "classic" 'Polar Coords' technigue on GIMP to create an orb for one layer. Then I used 'Lens Distortion' effect to get another layer with distorted image for the car logo. Finally I used 'Lighten Only' layer mode to combine the layers.

"Ephemeral"
I thought I had a very clever idea what to shoot, to illustrate the concept of "ephemeral".
First I planned to shoot the smoke rising from an extinguished candle. But very soon I found out, I don't have home studio equipments good enough to take a shot like that.
Then I went for a long walk around cemetery, to find something like withered flowers. And I did found flowers, and plenty of other nice things to photograph. But I just was not sure if that was a good idea either.
Then on my way home, some white items on the ground caught my attention. I first thought they are mushrooms. It turned out they are tossed away plastic cups.
So, the story is this. First we wait approximately 100 million years to get some crude oil. We pump it out from the ground. Then we refine it into plastic, like disposable drinking cups. And finally we toss it away. A huge amount of work and effort are done, just to get a cup for a short moment of use, no longer than one hour or so. That is surely ephemeral, I think! And after all, the consequences are not...

Because tags are out of fashion, I think =P
Supposedly there are declarations made by two or more gangs who does not even know who they are. Some of them are almost middle aged, selling and using drugs, hating the society, and not understanding they are the society. It is easy to say "I hate you", when one does not know who the "you" is.
On the Internet they have their own circles. They do not trust any communities provided and used by the majority. Instead they hide and trust only very closed groups. And the information they seek for from the other members of those closed croups are things like how to take advantages of the system, and how to "fight" against the system. Unfortunately they does not know against whom to fight for.

Back in Malta
Inspired by The Sunday Challenge 'Hats'.
Spending some quality time with my "evil step daughter", her boyfriend, and of course my wife! First day in Malta was so hot and sunny, which is why I had to buy something to protect my head. I know, I definitely look like a tourist! But that is what I am at the moment =D
We spent weekend in Venice, where it was much cooler, and very nice trip it was! And now back in Malta and getting relaxed.
