Well, it is merely as a fake fisheye... It gives the barrel distortion and circle typical for fisheye, but the angle of lens is something like 90 degrees, nowhere near the 180 degrees.

But that, macro and another wide angle lens costs only 10 euros. And the lens quality is good enough for point and shoot images.

See my reply to Gisela ;-) This fisheye came with an another lens that provides also separate magnification lens for extreme macro shots. That is what I have used on my resent #366 Play-series".

But another option is to visit a goldsmith and ask if they could sell or even give for free one of those loupes they use: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loupe#Jewelers_and_gemologists

okay... or, you can use the lens from a old laserpointer.
so...maybe you can get one old laserpointer for free ;)
