Wien, Karlskirche / Vienna, St. Charles Church
Built in the first half of the 18th century, the St. Charles Church in Vienna is a listed building. It is located on the south side of Karlsplatz, close to the city centre, and is one of the most important Baroque church buildings north of the Alps and one of Vienna's landmarks. In front of it, the sculpture "Hill Arches", which the artist Henry Moore gave to the city of Vienna as a gift on the occasion of the redesign of the plaza Karlsplatz after the construction of the underground.
