One of the Great Trees of London - a 500 year old Holm Oak in Fulham Palace grounds, one of the oldest trees of its kind in Britain. (stitched from two archive images).
Fulham Palace is a Grade 1 listed building within a Scheduled Ancient Monument dating from Medieval origins, Tudor and Georgian times. This Moated palace had been a residence in the ownership of the Bishops of London for over 1300 years, since around 700 AD.
