Wow old memory here Roger. we used to use Sumlocks early mechanical version of these, then our company bought something like this and we had one individual who would not trust them. She would use it to do her figure work then go back to the old mechanical calculator to check if the new one was correct.

I must admit, that experiences using a telephone link to a main frame computer back in the '70s was so tedious, that I ended up scheduling hospital fit out doors/ironmongery/furniture etc. the 'old' way, drafted on sheets of 'double elephant' tracing for printing. It is relatively so much easier these days; thanks for the comment!
