The bar at the Feathers

The bar at the Feathers Crondall - Oliver Cromwell is reputed to have stayed here in October 1645 on the way to do battle at Basing House and Nelson, Montgomery & Wellington have all stood here (as did my father, my cousins and myself back in the 1960s!). Cousins in the family were landlords of this historic pub through the 1950s-1960s.
