All Saints Church Godshill - the Leigh Monument
All Saints Church Godshill - the Leigh Monument to Sir John Leigh, who died in 1529 and to his wife Agnes.
Effigies crved in Derbyshire alabaster and a fine example of monumental work from the time of Henry VIII.
At the rear on the north chancel wall is a monument to Sir James Worsley (died 1536) and his wife Anne, daughter of Sir John Leigh and Agnes, (died 1567) kneeling at prayer desks.
Nikon D5100, Tamron 18-270mm
