The Plume of Feathers public house in Crondall, Hampshire
is thought to be one of the oldest pubs in Hampshire and Oliver Cromwell is reputed to have stayed here in October 1645 on his way to the Basing House siege.
Cousins of the family ran the pub and lived here during the 1950s.
