HBM ~ Inside The Pudding House
This is one of two Pudding Houses in the East Court of Montacute House. They are so called as guests would 'retire' to them to enjoy their puddings following a meal in the main dining room in Tudor and Stuart times. This would give the servants the opportunity to clear and prepare the dining room for the after-dinner entertainment.

Nothe Gardens with Nothe Fort in the background and PiP. ~ Weymouth.
This 19th century Fort includes a museum highlighting coastal defence. Built by the Victorians to protect Portland Harbour, Nothe Fort is one of the best preserved forts of its kind. The advances in technology that affected the fort are explained through many displays, exhibits and audio visual facilities located on the ramparts, gun decks and maze of underground passageways. You can enjoy the stunning and far reaching views of the Jurassic Coast from the picnic areas on the Ramparts. These will provide one of the best vantage points on the south coast.

Back to Minehead today. One side of the shelter gives a view across the sea and on the other side a view of the cottages along the road to the small harbour.

Clovelly Harbour
Clovelly, North Devon, is a fishing village known for its cobbled streets and small harbour. The village is built into a cleft in a 400ft (122m) high cliff and tumbles its way down past whitewashed cottages to the tiny working port. It is famous for its donkeys, which traditionally carry goods up the hill; sledges bring things down. The first PiP shows The Red Lion Hotel on the harbour and the second PiP, a view across the houses on the way down.

Two pictures showing the back and front the The New Inn, Pembridge, Herefordshire. One of the most famous of Herefordshire's Black and White villages, Pembridge has been in existence since well before the Domesday Book of 1086. The village contains a wealth of historic buildings, most in the medieval timber-framed style that makes this one of the most photogenic villages in the county.
