Recommended to all photography fans because of its beautiful architecture, the lovely park-like setting and last but not least its history...even if we hardly make use of photographic negatives these days.

Yes that's quite right Edna :-)) A used to visit this place often, but this is my first visit since the dreaded lockdowns! Without the negatives, we wouldn't have what we have now. I just wish my father had seen some of the digital age! He would have loved it! I used to watch him develop his photos!

Anyway, I love this image..........that archway and surrounds is very impressive and obviously meant to give visitors a good impression. I like the light and composition too.

In the PiP the white clocktower stands out in contrast to the other buildings.

In both images the architecture is beautiful and I really like the detail you've captured. Two superb shots Rosa :-)

It's a case of grab it while it's there Keith! :-)) As I mentioned to Edna, I use to visit Lacock a lot, but this was the first time for a few years. The volunteers in the rooms of the Abbey were so good and very interesting, as well as a spot of humour, which is always nice.
