Wow,ist das eine schöne Kathedrale liebe Rosa,deine Aufnahmen sind richtig schön,ist ja ein imposantes Gebäude und diese beiden Bäume innen drinnen passen richtig schön rein und spenden einen tollen Schatten,da hast du einen tollen Ort aufgesucht liebe Rosa :))

Three delightful images Rosa................the cathedral looks magnificent in the sunshine and you have captured all the beautiful architectural detail perfectly.

It's good to have shots takes from different perspectives and I particularly like the view in the second PiP. There are surprisingly few people about for a sunny June day, but people in shot are inevitable at this popular place.

Did you get to go inside as well?

.................I'm curious now - who does change the lightbulb at the top of the spire?

Thank you for your generous comments Keith. There were actually quite a few people about, but I took the chances to get a fairly tourist free pictures while it was possible :-))

I didn't go inside this time as I was meeting my sister and daughter there....too much time spent talking! I haven't been inside for years, so really must do that, and then I can ask....who does change the lightbulb on the spire ;-))

A very impressive building I've never been there, I have a thought we intended to go many years ago but it was closed for some reason. I hope your week has started well Rosalyn at least it was cooler today

Yes the building is beautiful from every angle Peter. I haven't ventured inside for a very long time. I must do so sometime soon. I am happy than the weather is cooler at the moment, as you are.

Many, many years ago I sang at a diocese mass choirs event in that beautiful building, acoustically it was incredible to be a part of.
