Lovely sunny place for a coffee; those cruffins (never heard of them) look very delicious.

A very 'Continental' feel to the cafe, those croissant - muffin hybrids look amazing - was that a blood orange curd in the centre?

Yes Denis, it does have that feel. The cruffins were amazing. The flaky pastry was very light and buttery and the blood orange curd was so good that I bought more to take home :-)

I just had to goolgle "cruffin" to learn they are a hybrid of a croissant and a muffin............they sound and look delicious :-))

This looks like a fantastic place to spend a sunny afternoon and once those trees get some leaves, it will be nice and shady too.

Two lovely photos Rosa............I hope you're having some good weather. Fri, Sat and Sunday were wonderful. Today it rained until around 2pm then we had a few hours sunshine and now, as I type, I'm watching and listening to a hailstorm..!!

Cruffins were more delicious than both of those Keith. The blood red orange curd was tangy and so delicious in the folds of buttery flaky pastry!! They also do savoury cruffins.....next time ;-)

The weather was about the same here Keith, but just 20 miles away at my daughter's place, it was sunny most of the day yesterday....it was her birthday, so of course the weather was good!!

A really lovely outdoor seating area and I love the way they have used the trees to make the area more attractive and defined, and I imagineto provide some shelter. It must be nice to sit and try one of those wonderful creations whilst enjoying the view.

The cruffins do look tasty. Not sure I could stop at one!!!

What a nice shady place to take a coffee (or tea) break. Car-free spaces, which are becoming more and more common, have the distinct advantage of offering these peaceful havens. A real pleasure in spring, isn't it?
As for these cruffins, your photo pays them a more than appetizing and flattering tribute! How can we doubt they are delicious? :-)
