Impressive chimneys.

Impressive chimneys.
A cottage I liked along the Tisbury to Hindon road. Very impressive chimneys.

Jeff Farley, Roger (Grisly), Nick Weall, Andy Rodker and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

What we miss in England are storks on chimneys! Apparently we did have them before the mini-ice age of the 16th and 17th centuries. They seem to be making a comeback in East Anglia, or was it cranes?? I remember reading something a few years back but I may have got my facts mixed up.
Nice shot though!
Best wishes, Andy

You've just reminded me...I was sitting in the living room and something caught my eye out of the window, and it was a crane on the chimney of the house opposite....but I am now wondering if it was a heron. Pity I had no time to take a picture.
Best wishes, Rosa.

It was very foggy when we drove here Nick and couldn't see a thing...I did mention to my daughter not to drive too close to the left, as I could just see tree tops at the same level as the road!! Maybe when it's not foggy I will see the lake. I don't know it though ~ All the best, Rosa

Lovely shot Rosa, House built of stone yet chimneys of brick, unusual or an addition I wonder.
