I've crossed the Plain dozens of times and never seen one. I think they have become nocturnal.

Harvest is over but they have left great patterns:-)

Sat-navs seem to work well for farmers and remove some of the need for thinking ;-)

Well observed and taken Neil................I especially like the contrasting stripes and that lovely row of trees at the top of the slope.

Thank you, Keith. I'd actually stopped to take a shot of a dilapidated building and this view at the side was crying out to be photographed. It would have been impolite to ignore it.

Sometimes you can get so transfixed by one subject that you fail to look around you, and miss all sorts of interesting stuff. I speak from experience of course - having missed lots of good shots in my time :-))

Maybe it is a good thing that I never seem to find out about what I missed ;-)
