Eastern Phoebe
On a downspout right beside my garage door. After skipping last year for a different downspout, the phoebes have returned to this location where they successfully raised two families each season of the two years previous to last year. The garage doors are quite noisy and Otis and I are frequently walking right under this nest, yet the phoebes persist. They often do not even leave the nest when we are about, athough they do keep a wary eye on us. Etowah County, Alabama (IMG_2977H)

So much fun to watch... and they are what I had and mis named. I have since corrected the names .
I loved watching the total of nine growing up !
