Photographs taken on my first visit to the new railway line that runs through London, between Kent and Essex in the East and Reading and Heathrow Airport in the West. It is a very speedy way to travel across London and has very good connections with London's other railway networks.
I visited about a dozen stations and will be uploading photos from each as I process them. In addition to the Elizabeth Line trains and stations, there will be a brief diversion recorded, between Custom House and Canary, via the Docklands Light Railway, involving a change of trains at Poplar. There are also photos taken outside some of the stations and these include pictures of artworks, some of which have been commissioned by the Elizabeth Line and its partners.

Farringdon is the interchange station between Thameslink, which runs from the south of England into counties to the north of London, and the Elizabeth Line that connects Heathrow Airport and Reading, to the west of the capital, to Essex and Kent to the east.
