Architecture from the 19th & 21st century! Brunel's original station framed by the new combined bridge and platform roofs. Their sweeping lines are interrupted by the overhead line equipment gantries.. The latter are already cutting down the photo opportunities that used to be offered at this busy station.
This sandwich will have a much more substantial filling in a few days when the Reading Festival kicks off - one of the UK's biggest annual music festivals.
Another one for 'Benches of the world'. I am not organised or clubbable enough to get into challenges, but belonging to a few quirky groups gives me a few more targets for my snapping.
