Littlehampton is really good place to take a couple of small grandchildren for a day out. I am sure it would be great for a family holiday, but as we live by the sea, about twenty eight miles to the east, a longer trip would probably be to a different part of the country. The main draw on this trip was the prospect of a sandy beach as our home beach is 98% shingle.
Part of The Longest Bench Project. I have photos of other sections of this bench - but they are much more like standard seating - with one or two quirky features like turning into the vertical plane to go round lamp-posts.
