While no traffic is allowed on the road for the duration of the race, one can still try to cross the road between the cyclists, but as some of the races overlap, there can be long periods, when there is a constant stream of competitors going through.

The interestingness lies in its method of display rather than its content, perhaps. As the poster is attached to the bike, not a wall or a lamp-post, the idea may well be that it can claim to be just parked there temporarily, not actually 'posted'.
The owner of this bike was taking photos a bit further along the beach, so it hadn't been parked there for an overnight stay, otherwise it would have been pelted with shingle, come high tide.
I assume a four-wheeled bike is a 'quike'! I bet that those will be a pain to overtake on the steep and narrow bits of the A259 between Seaford and Eastbourne.
For anyone unhappy that these are not BIcycles - there are two in the background!
